About Playa Grande

Playa Grande has been a part of the Leatherback Marine National Park since 1991.

We are lucky to have a variety of wildlife such as iguanas, howler monkeys, wild felines, hummingbirds and other exotic birds, squirrels, coatimundis, raccoons and exuberant luscious flora, freely coexisting in this tiny piece of heaven.

The beach is stunning, with really consistent waves all year round, making it an outstanding location for surfing.

To the south you’ll find the largest estuary in Latin America, boasting an impressive mangrove.

Playa Grande sunsets are breathtaking, heartwarming, unforgettable...and looking forward to your visit.

Just steps from the beach you have a cool and relaxing new place that comes to Grande to fill all the necessities of the locals and visitors. Is a place to hangout, eat,drink, enjoy, buy, stay and more.

What it offers:
